Three Friends. Two Ideas. One Vision.

Brittani’s family is originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama but like her co-founders, she grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She attended Howard University where she studied Marketing. After spending four years in college and growing to love the DMV, she put roots down in the Greater Washington DC Area, however as of June 2019 she has relocated to New York City.

Most recently, Brittani is working to lead Strategic Engagements for the Center for Machine Learning at Capital One. In this role she works to drive the strategy around branding, marketing, and engagements for the organization. This work affords Brittani the opportunity to travel extensively, network with leading Machine Learning professionals, and bring dynamic internal programming to the company. Although this space keeps Brittani quite busy, she still finds time for a number of extracurricular opportunities.

Brittani works throughout the year to consult & coordinate various events up and down the east coast. She always happy spending her time putting a special touch on boutique experiences such as: wedding coordination, special occasion parties, and brand/company launches. Outside of her career and entrepreneurial ventures, Brittani works to empower women through multiple channels, but most frequently through her weekly women’s empowerment podcast, Grapes For Dinner. As a black woman in Corporate America, as a black woman entrepreneur, and as a black woman philanthropist - Brittani is committed to defining success for herself, despite how the world may view her. Through the years, Brittani has developed a deep appreciation for mentoring women, and young girls, to encourage them to seek self-defined excellence, in everything that we do. She is quoted saying, “I work everyday to look at the women who came before me, translate their ambition into who I am today, and most importantly, never forget the little girls behind me.” Brittani feels strongly that her ability to impact the lives of women, is one of the reasons she was put on this earth.

When she’s not laser focused on her schedule, you can find her getting some steps in with her sweet chihuahua Princess - who she adopted in 2018. She and Princess enjoy visiting friends, cooking big dinners, blasting Beyonce albums, and exploring their new neighborhood in Manhattan. Nevertheless, Brittani works to live by the following quote:

“You can't make decisions based on fear and the possibility of what might happen.” - Michelle Obama, Former First Lady, Philanthropist, & Best Selling Author

"Our Deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure...we ask ourselves who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?" -Marianne Williamson

She'Neil Johnson

She’Neil has worn a number of hats, but they all address one goal. Creating a platform for people, things, and ideas' stories to become memorable human interactions.

In 2014 She’Neil Johnson graduated from Howard University’s School of Business with a degree in Management Information Systems. She believed New York was the perfect place for her to focus on building a strong career in business and making the right connections to follow the popular route of working two years corporate, going to business school, then climbing the company ladder of promotions. Little did she know this city would only become a daily dose of inspiration for the true creative she is.

She’Neil spent the beginning of her career becoming well versed in consumer insights, design, and tech as a user experience designer at IBM for luxury retail clients. During her time at IBM she managed client relationships by acting as an onsite project manager, leading teams through development and launch, and gained upper level management's financial support of $40K for an internal project.

Within She’Neil’s UX role she was promoted to senior consultant, but quickly left the industry to follow her passion in marketing! She founded BASE BUTTER, a start-up skincare company, and  five years defining and executing the optimal marketing strategy to aid BASE BUTTER in it’s growth and success. She helped build the brand identity and see through two re-launches.

Since its inception BASE BUTTER has been seen in ESSENCE, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, and the New York Times to name a few.

She’Neil has always wanted to be an entrepreneur. She sees the power of it, especially in women. Both her older sister and mother have influenced her and that is why she brought the entrepreneurial aspect to a non-profit she founded with two of her friends named Her Success Incorporated. The mission of Her Success is to expand the limits of extraordinary young women who are often overlooked, discredited, or underrepresented with an overarching vision to cultivate women to be uncomfortable with average.

She’Neil now lives Philly where she has worked with companies  like Rec Philly, a company Forbes calls “a WeWork for Artists”, and Seer Interactive, a top digital marketing firm.

When She’Neil is not working you can find her styling her next fashion creation, planning her next world travel experience with her friends and fiance, or helping other creatives launch their ideas. She starts each day with these words:

“The best way to predict the future is by creating it.” -Unknown
